On the Integration of Network Management to the Distributed Sis Platform Using Agent/manager Modeling

چکیده
This paper describes a methodology for building telecommunication management agents. Its utilization greatly reduces the time needed for and, therefore, the cost of their development. The implementation eeort is focused on the communication between agents and managed objects, and in the mapping between the object's information model and the plat-form's. Also, presented are the agent/manager interface and some of the agents which were built through this methodology and which are eeectively running on a real telecommunication plant. Indeed, the gathered experience in such development is discussed.
